For everyone, it is a proud occasion. A prize has returned home. The Elephant Whisperers, a production by Guneet Monga, took home the Best Documentary Short Film trophy at the 95th Academy Awards. The Kartiki Gonsalves-directed movie triumphed in this category by defeating Haulout, The Martha Mitchell Effect, Stranger At The Gate, and How Do You Measure A Year? Everyone is quite happy! Guneet Monga is for sure. She posted a happy message on her social media platforms. Supporters are really pleased and proud of the significant victory. Several people are also disappointed that another movie, All That Breathes, was not honoured.

The movie was up for Best Documentary Feature Film, but Shaunak Sen, Aman Mann, and Teddy Leifer’s Navalny won the prize. Nadeem Shehzad, Salik Rehman, and Mohammad Saud are the main characters in Saunak Sen’s film All That Breathes. Congratulation to The Elephant Whisperers team and Guneet Monga. It’s a well-earned victory!
