 Bheed: Movie Review

The film contains many memorable moments, and these are what make the plot so compelling. Be it Rajkummar’s Singh Sahab, who is constantly reminded of his caste and has a palpable conflict, guilt, about it, or the small girl who is just trying to get by with her father and trying her hardest to reach her village. In the film, Pankaj Kapur’s character, Balram Trivedi, says, ‘Border ban gaye apne hi desh ke andar?’ He has a lot of these conversations, and they make you think while also making you feel strongly. The colour palette of the film is similarly unconventional, but it only makes sense over time.Rajkummar has absorbed his character quite effectively, demonstrating how thoroughly he understands his part. He attempts to help people and bring them to justice, but his internal turmoil makes it tough for him. He does, however, perform admirably. Bhumi works well as both the doc and the love interest, while Pankaj Kapur and Kritika Kamra are standout performers. The former is aware of what he is doing, and Kritika, as the young journalist, makes an impression.
