Satish Kaushik’s death has shocked his colleagues in the industry as well as his admirers. The 66-year-old actor-director died after an apparent heart attack in New Delhi on Wednesday night. In an interview, his manager, Santosh Rai, discussed Kaushik’s last moments. He revealed that the actor wished to live a long life for his daughter Vanshika.

Santosh told ETimes that Satish Kaushik was watching his film Kagaaz 2 because he needed to work on the edit at night. Suddenly, he phoned for him and requested that he be transported to the hospital since he was having trouble breathing. He drove him to the hospital with the driver and security, but his health worsened on the way.
